Copa Airlines continues to post new standards for efficient operations. Panama’s home carrier was recently recognized as the “Most Punctual Airline in Latin America by Cirium, the respected industry data and analytics firm.
If it sounds like you’ve heard this before, it’s because the 11th time Copa has been recognized with the customer-friendly distinction, the most of any airline since Cirium’s program launched in 2009. According to the latest report, Copa achieved a punctuality rate of 90.75%, the highest rate of all airlines in the Americas and the second best in the world, even surpassing the percentage recorded in the global ranking category.
Copa’s performance reflects sustained operational focus that separates industry leaders from competitors,” Jeremy Bowen, Cirium CEO, said in a statement
Copa wasn’t the only Panama winner in the report. Tocumen International Airport was also recognized as a top performer in the Medium Airport category, with 93.34% of flights departing on time.
Both prizes demonstrate that as the Hub of Americas continues to grow, Panama has been able to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction levels.
