Punta Pacifica Realty officially launched Casa del Mar, the latest waterfront luxury resort on Ocean Reef islands, with an invite-only event on August 18 on the front of the new marina. 

Casa del Mar is an exciting new entry to the options on Ocean Reef. Located on Isla Este, the second island, there are only 24 units in the boutique waterfront development designed by Panama architect George Moreno. Every designer unit offers beautiful views of the bay and city, with direct links to the marina. Buyers will get a free boat with their purchase.

We’ve seen tremendous demand for Casa del Mar, with seven units sold even before the launch event. The guest list included friends, clients, and investors, who gathered on the deck of Café Blue, in front of the Ocean Reef Marina, to learn more about the project. 

As is often the case on Ocean Reef, it was a sunny and gorgeous afternoon. Guests started arriving at 5 p.m. and many took advantage of the opportunity to take photos with the Ocean Reef Marina and the city skyline in the background: a postcard-worthy image.

Several of the guests were new to Ocean Reef and requested tours of the island and model apartment. They were amazed at the rapid progress. Ocean Reef is developing as a wonderful waterfront community, with the marina in full swing and the new water sports club now fully operational.

It’s amazing how much the islands have changed in the last year. There are two phases in the marina, the first phase is complete, and the second phase is far along in construction, with several new developments ready for delivery.

PPR sales and rental specialist Jose Art welcomed the guests to the Casa del Mar event and introduced the architect, Mr. Moreno, who explained his vision for the development. The clean lines and sophistication of each home are inspired by modern Italian boats, giving the development a nautical theme. Residents will feel that they are on the upper deck of a mega yacht in the Mediterranean when they are in the social areas.

Casa del Mar is a one-of-a-kind, low-density development that is different from any other project in Panama. In addition to its location steps away from the Ocean Reef Yacht Club. the development features a rooftop bar and pool deck, planetarium, and yoga deck.

It was clear the guests at the launch event understood the appeal. Several asked to book tours of the island the next day. 

All in all, the event was a huge success. It was a great chance to be with friends and enjoy the spectacular setting. And I have a feeling many of the guests will soon be residents of Ocean Reef.
