Introducing The Palms, the Newest Member of the Ocean Reef Signature Collection

Developer Grupo Los Pueblos (GLP) officially launched sales this week in The Palms Beach Resort, the largest waterfront residential development on Ocean Reef islands and the last development of its kind in the iconic Panama Bay project.

The Palms is the newest entry to the Ocean Reef Signature Resort Collection, an ensemble of waterfront resorts that have set sales records and established new standards for Panama City developments. The Collection represents projects that made Ocean Reef one of the top residential destinations in the world, the local rival to Fisher Island in Miami or Jumeirah Islands in Dubai.

The Palms Beach Resort is a worthy newcomer to the Collection. The resort-style complex will be the largest on the islands, with 120 meters of oceanfront, lush grounds, and luxurious beachfront residences with expansive ocean and city views. The Palms will be the only development of its kind on Ocean Reef, with seven buildings in a natural, resort setting with two pools, a swim-up bar, oceanfront decks, a private sandy beach, and the Lookout Observation Deck, the first private pier in Ocean Reef.

Designed by famed Panamanian architect firm George Moreno and Partners, there are seven residential buildings in the development, each oriented to take full advantage of the beautiful views and ocean breezes. In total there are 63 apartments, ranging from 141 square meters to 350 meters; most of the buildings will offer only two apartments per floor, although some full-floor layouts are available.

GLP is only releasing 28 units in the first phase. In the first few days since the announcement, five of the units were reserved, with another 10 already on hold. Buyers are seeing the value and recognize that this will certainly be the last opportunity to buy a home in this type of development on Ocean Reef.

Based on the history of the Ocean Reef Signature Collection, the next phase will almost certainly include a significant increase in prices. That’s what happened in every one of the earlier Ocean Reef Signature Collection development, especially in the recent projects, where prices jumped anywhere from 10 to 30% when each phase was announced.

The Ocean Reef Signature Resort Collection has been one of the most successful groups of individual developments in Latin American history. Every phase of every development has sold out quickly, with buyers recognizing the fantastic, one-of-a-kind opportunity available on Ocean Reef.

The Ocean Reef Signature Resort Collection includes:

The Palms will be the last member of this exclusive club of luxury resorts — and it will soon join the sold-out list. We can already see the buzz around the newest member of the club.
