Amador Investor Deals Available at 2017 ACOBIR Event

Investors looking to buy into the growth of the Amador Causeway will have an opportunity to access last-minute deals in the waterfront Naos Harbour Island project during this week’s Expo Inmobiliaria ACOBIR 2017 property event in Panama City.

Representatives of Punta Pacifica Realty sales team will be available to detail the Naos deals during the Expo, Jan. 25-29 at the Atlapa Convention Center, one of the largest international events for Panama City’s property industry. ACOBIR attracts agents, investors and industry executives from around the world.

“ACOBIR was a big success for us last year and we look forward to it being even bigger this year,” said Brian Kelly, PPR’s project manager for Naos Harbour Island.

Naos Harbour Island, one of the premier projects on the Amador Causeway, offers 122 apartments in three towers with expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and entrance to the Panama Canal. The location offers the quiet and beauty of island living, but it is only a 20-minute drive from all the amenities of downtown Panama City and Casco Viejo. The first two towers in Naos have been completed and people are living in the apartments; work is progressing on the third tower, with construction scheduled to start next year on a marina villa and 270-slip marina.

Current advertised prices in Naos start at $270,000, but they are set to rise on Feb. 1.

“We will have exclusive deals available at ACOBIR, at price points we may never see again,” Kelly says. “We have a limited inventory of fully-titled apartments available in this project, which captures all the best attributes of Amador.”

Amador Causeway connects four islands off the coast of Panama City. Developing Amador as a tourism and cultural destination is a top priority for the Panama government, which has committed more than $300 million to the project. In addition to the recently opening Frank Gehry-designed Bio-museo, a work is moving forward on a new convention center and cruise port. Money is also flowing to improve recreational amenities, including parks, bike trails and walkways along the waterfront.

An expansion of the road along the Causeway is set to open March 1.

“Amador is the next hot spot for property investment in Panama City,” Kelly said. “It’s a great place to enjoy the healthy, outdoor lifestyle unique to the city.”
