More than 150 of PPR’s friends and neighbors joined us on Ocean Reef last Saturday for a wonderful afternoon of drinks and island breezes.
It was a great afternoon. The sun peeked through the clouds. The rain stayed away. And we were able to show off all the beauty of Ocean Reef, the man-made islands minutes away from downtown Panama City.
The turnout was a testimony to the lure of the islands and the new development, the Beach Club Residences. You can tell people are fascinated by the project and its unique location, which is so reminiscent of exclusive islands in Miami and Dubai.
Grupo Los Pueblos (GLP) executive vice president Alfredo Alemán, developer of Ocean Reef and many of Panama’s best-known projects, was on hand to talk about the amazing progress on the islands. There were also several of the existing owners in attendance, who were eager to talk about the growing community of homeowners on the islands, which will be anchored by the largest marina in Panama City.
Most of the business discussions were focused on the amazing rollout of the Beach Club Residences, which is a unique property for Ocean Reef. The apartments will offer a special waterfront lifestyle, with prices starting in the $700,000s.
We keep telling people this may be the last chance to find anything for less than $1 million on Ocean Reef, and that really hits home when you’re on the islands.
PPR has been able to offer exclusive deals on the first units in the project, thanks to our valued relationship with GLP, and the response has been tremendous.
Saturday’s event generated more than $3.3 million in sales, mainly to investors and second home buyers who see the opportunity and who stepped up and reserved four of the residences. There are only four residences left in phase one, and judging by Saturday’s response, they won’t last long.
When we were are all on the waterfront enjoying the breeze and views, I could tell more than a few people were starting to picture themselves enjoying the island lifestyle. Ocean Reef will do that to you.
