PPR Rental Expert Raul Hassan Earns Honor (Again)

Punta Pacifica Realty rental specialist Raul Hassan has once again earned membership into PPR’s exclusive Montblanc Club, which recognizes outstanding achievement in sales, rentals, and service.

Raul was the first PPR team member to earn Montblanc status in Jan. 2017 and now he becomes the first to win the award for the second time. Raul earned his second award by making 10 rentals in May.

“Raul has worked hard to develop his expertise in connecting top executives to the best rentals available in Panama City,” says Jeff Barton, PPR managing director. “He really has a great eye for the market.”

Four PPR associates have earned Montblanc status since the program was launched in 2017

Raul has worked with PRR since 2016. He credits his colleagues for his success, from the listing team to the well-respected property management team, the largest in Panama City.

“I´m fortunate to count with what I believe is the best team in the real estate business in Panama,” Raul says. “Forty percent of my rentals were made from listings managed by our property management department, who keep the apartments pristine and take care of our clients long after the rental is closed.”

Part of Raul’s performance stems from his extensive relationship with multinational corporations with headquarters in Panama City. His recent clients have included executives from McKinsey & Company, Minera Panama, the United Arab Emirates embassy and China Railway Corporation.

“This is a networking industry,” Raul says. “I always work with the best brokers who share my passion and level of commitment.”

Furnished two-bedroom apartments in quality towers are most in demand, but they are getting harder to find, he says.

“Most executives are moving with their spouses or will request to have an extra room for visitors,” Raul says. “Our depleted inventory of quality two-bedrooms in the Ocean Club is a good example of this phenomenon and a great tip for future investors.”

The Panama City market is in transition, with renters focusing on the top buildings with the best services.

“Multinational companies are still expanding their business to Panama and I’m starting to see potential movement from Chinese companies that will be relocating a good amount of their executives in our country,” Raul says. “There will always be opportunities for owners that keep their properties in the best conditions and work with professional managers.”

Montblanc comes with a variety of honors, including executive pens and keychains, as well as the recognition of achievement. Raul says he enjoys the ability to achieve and grow at PPR, where there is a commitment to continued training and improvement.

“You get to work with people that share a passion for the industry, that are always hungry to succeed and provide the best service to clients,” Raul says. “PPR provides the tools to make sure you will keep on learning and developing the skills you need to perform at your best.”

Raul says he is ready to become the first PPR team member to earn the Montblanc award for the third time before one of his teammates beats him to it.

“There is no doubt in my mind that my sales teammates are the best real estate agents in Panama,” Raul says. “We continuously have a fierce but friendly and cooperative competition to shine and excel in this industry.”
