Video: New Copa Club Opens in Tocumen’s Terminal 2

One of the perks of the beautiful new Terminal 2 at Tocumen International Airport is officially open: the comfortable new Copa Club, Copa Airlines’ premium lounge.

The design of the new 20,000-square-foot lounge was “inspired by the modern hacienda,” and has all the amenities a traveler would expect from a first-rate international airline lounge. Open to PreferMember, business class, and Star Alliance Gold passengers, the space comfortably seats 420 and includes a wide array of spaces and lounge areas to relax, read or even dig into Panama Real Estate, before a flight.

The facility includes a bar, media room, business center, and “quiet room” for relaxing. Another highlight is La Placita, a replica of an interior courtyard and terrace with views of the airport. There are even shower rooms for a refreshing layover.

The new lounge “is an important component to continue strengthening the competitiveness of the Hub of the Americas, one of the most important connection centers in the region,” said Pedro Heilbron, executive president of Copa Airlines.

The new lounge is in Terminal 2, up the stairs from the security area in front of gate 207.
