Punta Pacifica Realty Signs New Technology Deal

As part of its commitment to stay on the leading edge of the Panama City property business, Punta Pacifica Realty (PPR) has entered into a strategic alliance with technology company TopManage Panama, a leading provider of business software solutions in Latin America.

TopManage will assist PPR with the integration and customization of a scalable software system to help manage the future expansion of the property management business. PPR is already the largest property management firm in Panama City and expects to see substantial growth as new projects complete in the next few years.

“This will change the way we do business,” said PPR Director of Property Management Eddie Montes. “And it will create direct benefits for all of our clients.”

As part of the agreement, PPR will adopt SAP Business One management software, which will create efficiencies in all of the management operation’s internal processes, resulting in fewer errors and higher client satisfaction, Montes says. The software will automate many of the tasks that are currently being done manually, including inventory, scheduling of work orders, unit make ready reports.

“This investment will improve our ability to communicate with our clients and respond quicker to any issues,” Montes says. “It will make us more efficient and help position us for the future as we look for new ways to serve our customers.”

The SAP Business One software will manage every element for apartment owners and tenants, including a log of activity and maintenance and repairs, says Juan Ciacera, Solution Architect for TopManage.

“One of the most valuable objectives for this project is to eliminate double work, due to the handling of several platforms that are not integrated with each other,” Mr. Ciacera says.

TopManage, a private cloud computing company, is headquartered in Panama City. Since it was established in 1998, TopManage has grown into a worldwide supplier of e-commerce solutions, providing products and services to more than 300 customers throughout Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
